The Continental Divide is a drainage divide running along the Rocky Mountains. To the west of the divide, all the water flows into the Pacific Ocean and on the eastern side, all the water flows to the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. The Great Continental Divide Adventure Route is a motorized route that follows closely along the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. This scenic trail runs from the USA/Mexico border into Canada and covers 2,767 miles of spectacular remote wilderness. The Route covers 5 states: New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana and is a mostly a mix of smaller dirt roads and back country roads. This is considered a scenic adventure route and most riders take two weeks, we’ll take 12 days to travel the length. Many riders camp along the route, we will stay in hotels.

Your bike and gear will be transported from Atascadero, CA to Tucson, AZ where we’ll meet at the hotel and prep to ride the next day. On Day 1 we’ll do a van transport to Antelope Wells, NM, the southern border crossing with Mexico. For the next 11 days you’ll be riding spectacular dirt roads, 2 track, and some single track all the way to Roosville, BC, the northern International Border with Canada. We will then do a van transport to Spokane, WA where you can catch a flight home. Your bikes and gear will be returned to Atascadero, CA 3 days later.
